The Department of Banking and Finance at Eastern Mediterranean University is delighted to announce the 9th International Conference on Banking and Finance Perspectives (ICBFP'2026). The conference will be held on 22-23 October 2026 in Famagusta, North Cyprus.
The theme of the conference is Digital Finance: Cryptocurrencies, Fintech and CBDCs.
This conference will serve as a platform and an excellent opportunity for researchers, academicians, practitioners, and doctoral students from across the globe to present their research, share experiences, and engage in discussions on new and challenging issues in banking and finance, as well as in wide multidisciplinary research areas.
Please note that abstract and full-text submissions should only be prepared and submitted in English. We look forward to welcoming you to the 9th International Conference on Banking and Finance Perspectives (ICBFP'2026) and creating an enriching and collaborative academic atmosphere.
Online presentation sessions will be available for international participants during the conference. Once your registration is completed, please email icbfp@emu.edu.tr to inform the organizing committee about your intention to participate in the online presentation sessions.

Qualified submissions will be recommended for publication in the International Review of Economics and Finance and the Journal of Banking and Financial Research (JOBAF). The conference committee and reviewers will review the submitted manuscript to decide whether it is qualified to be recommended. The author(s) should acknowledge that the journals' final decision is irrelevant to the conference and additional peer-review process is required. The International Review of Economics and Finance journal has been indexed by the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) and SCOPUS.
Conference Abstracts will be published in e-abstracts. Full papers will undergo a review process for publication in the Springer Conference Proceedings in Business and Economics, which are indexed in SCOPUS.
