Prof. Dr. Meryem Duygun

 Dr. Meryem Duygun is a Professor of Banking and Finance at the Nottingham University Business School in the UK. Meryem holds the Aviva Chair in Risk and Insurance and directs the ESRC IAA funded University of Nottingham Fintech Research Network. She is the President of IFABS-International Finance and Banking Society. Her current research on InsurTech is funded by the British Academy. Meryem is the academic delegate on the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) Financial Services Innovation Forum. She is a regular consultant to the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the Indonesian Supreme Audit Board. She works closely with Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) on small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) access to finance research. Meryem serves as an editorial board member for a number of internationally recognized journals. Currently, she is subject editor of Journal of International Financial Markets Institutions & Money and Associate Editor in Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence -Artificial Intelligence in Finance. She served as a guest editor for Journal of Corporate Finance and Journal of Banking & Finance. Meryem has published two books and numerous studies in leading international journals, including among others Journal of Corporate Finance, British Journal of Management, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Economic Behaviour & Organization, European Journal of Operational Research, Omega, etc. She is a regular speaker at national and international events.

 

 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Nasir

 Dr. Muhammad Ali Nasir is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Leeds, UK. His main areas of research interest are macro and monetary economics, financial economics, econometrics, and energy and environmental economics. He has published a number of high-quality research outputs in reputable journals. Dr. Nasir also has a great interest in socio-economic issues, financial and ecological stability. His recent publications are in the Journal of Environmental Management, Energy Economics, Resources Policy, and Journal of Economic Studies. Dr. Nasir is a guest editor of very reputable journals such as the Journal of Environmental Management, the Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Resources Policy and Technical Forecasting, and Social Change.
